About Rosemund Handler

Rosemund J Handler (centre) loves to hike the glorious mountains of Cape Town, where she lives. When she can, she escapes the city to view animals and birds in the vast open spaces of the beloved country – conducive to stargazing, wine sipping and the reading of good fiction.

She has published short stories in South Africa and the United States. Madlands, which was published by Penguin in April 2006, was her first novel; it was followed by Katy’s Kid in 2007. Rosemund’s third novel, Tsamma Season, will be published in 2009.
